I have emailed them several times and finally got a response. I responded to their email back with the information they requested and hadn’t heard anything back from them.

Hello. Re: Information about your ice maker.
Pic attached. Im one year, I have had four of these machines. The first did not make ice upon immediate receipt. It was replaced.
That one, the second, worked extremely well - so well I gifted number three. That one is working for now. Shortly thereafter, number two was almost one year old and suddenly shut down after loud noise. No longer working.
I immediately ordered a new one. All through Amazon. I will receive number four soon. I hope it works longer than one year.
I also hope this information will have your design team research why this happens. Great machine.
But one might expect better quality for $200/yr. Just sayin
